ISLAMABAD – The leading religious-political party in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government alliance, Jamiyat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has officially departed ways with government citing deadlock over issues related tp Taliban talks and national security policy.

The spokesperson of JUI-F, Jan Achakzai, issued the official communique stating that until deadlock on policy issues is resolved with PML-N, his party feels difficult to continue to be the coalition partner in the government.

He said JUI has not been taken into confidence on Protection of Pakistan (PPO), National Security Policy (NSP) and Taliban talks by PML-N as an ally.

“This is why JUI-F ministers have submitted resignations”, he added.

Its worth mentioning here that at least three lawmakers of JUI-F had taken the oath a federal ministers but never been granted any portfolio ever since.
