PakistanTribe reported earlier that Sindh Rangers have decided to speedup the targeted operation in Karachi against miscreants who have killed as many as 12 men during last few days.

According to a spokesperson of SIndh Rangers, the paramilitary force formed two teams for the arrest of elements involved in the fresh wave of targeted killings in the city.

The decision to form the special teams was taken at a meeting held at the Rangers headquarters. He said that the elements involved in the killings would be arrested soon.

A targeted operation against criminal elements had been underway for past many months. But the gangsters never gave up to gift dead bodies to the city almost every day.

The Director General of Sindh Rangers – paramilitary force leading the Karachi operation – once said that thedesignated powers to his force were not enough to bring peace back.

Moreover, the country’s premier spy agency, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), believed that militant wings of the major political parties in Sindh were behind the chaos in Karachi.

The leader of largest political party of Karachi, Dr Farooq Sattar, had related the peace in the city with the prospects of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s alliance with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
