WEB DSEK – One 37-year-old female resident of East Texas landed herself in police custody after she called police to lodge complaint about the quality of marijuana (pot drug) she bought from a dealer.
According to the interesting details in Texas local news papers and news websites, the Lufkin police Sargent David Casper went to the home of 37-year-old Evelyn Hamilton to hear her complaint. Hamilton, however, was furious on her dealer for selling substandard drugs.
She wanted the police officer to help her getting back her money from the dealer as she could not get any relief by using the drugs she bought. Subsequently, she was arrested on a charges of possession.
It is worth mentioning here that the US State of Colorado entered the New Year on a high note by becoming the first state to legally sell marijuana and open the retail spots for pot.
Colorado collected $ 1.4 million from a 10 percent sales tax on marijuana, as well as $ 416,690 from the state’s normal 2.9 percent sales tax, the Colorado Department of Revenue reported after two months of sales.
