Tokyo : Some sayings Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said “ that food should be well chewed ” and modern medical science has declared it useful for human health .

A Japanese study found fast eaters weigh on average 15.5lb more than slow chewers

Study published in the Journal Epidemiology, researchers warned that eating too fast may raise the risk of obesity and diabetes.

The study noted that the sharp bite of food without swallowing, makes body to consume more calories besides reducing the meal quantity.

Researchers say chewing food properly even make food eating an enjoyable event.
