Prof Ibrahim

WEB DESK – The leader of Jamat-e-Islami and negotiator appointed about outlawed militant group Tehreek-e-Taliabn Pakistan (TTP), Professor Ibrahim has warned Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) of sabotaging the release of Shahbaz Taseer and Ali Musa Gilani due to the harsh statements against outlawed militants.

According to a statement made by Ibrahim, the situation could get worst for both high profile prisoners if PPP’s leadership continued giving harsh statements against outlawed Taliban.

However, Ibrahim did not mention at all whether he received any instructions from outlawed militants in this regard.

Ibrahim said that we (Taliban appointed negotiators) were also trying to convince Taliban to release the civilian prisoners but complexities could arise due to PPP’s own behavior.

The condition was to release their two men currently in custody of Sindh government.
