Another court summoned Musharraf minimizing his chances to travel abroad

WEB DESK – Another Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) ordered former President General (rtd) Pervez Musharraf to appear before it on April 21 for the hearing of Nawab Akbar Bugti’s murder case.

According to the court correspondents, the judge Tariq Ahmed Kasi directed the former counsels of Musharraf to get him appear before the court otherwise his bail would be cancelled.

“The court will issue arrest warrants against him if he fails to appear before it,” counsel of Nawabzada Jamil Akbar Bugti, Sohail Rajput, told reporters while quoting the remarks of the judge during the hearing.

Meanwhile, former federal interior minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and former home minister Balochistan Mir Shoaib Nowsherwani appeared before the court in relation to the case.

Earlier, Musharraf was also summoned by one Anti-Terrorism Court on April 25 for the hearing of judging detention case.

Musharraf had submitted a plea in the Supreme Court of Pakistan for the removal of his name from ECL.

PakistanTribe reported that Nawaz Sharif only wanted his face saving in the pertaining issue. According to a senior journalist and media personality ‘Javed Chaudhry’ that middle way would be removing Musharraf’s name from ECL through a court order.
